provinciallife went out responding complaints for roads being blocked with snow, this is probably the last thing he expected to find outside in the cold.
Little further from the side of the road, he noticed that a box was placed under some branches. Presumably to keep the top on. The box itself was white, and one could barely see it from the road.
What he saw inside was heart breaking: two very cold and sick kittens. And he could easily tell the one at the front was in far worse shape then the other one.
This was such a great luck for our two little souls, because I dare anyone to spot a white box in this white no-man's-land.
He brought them to his house. The kitty who was in the front of the box, looked pretty sick. He's was full of poop, smelled like urine and had gunk around his eyes and nose.
Their frightening experience and time spent out in the cold, left a visible mark. If separated, they would meow continuously until they're reunited. They were terrified without each other.
Sure thing they were in great need to be seen by a vet, and that was the first thing they did the next day. Sadly, the sick kitty was found to have a wounded tail. They were required to keep an eye on it, and return to the vet in case that part would develop any smell or grow darker.
Many emotions later, these two kittens found a home to stay, and that was such a relief to know they are happy, well and healthy.
